Orchestral Work

Prunella is often asked which orchestra she plays in. Her career took her winding through a maze of orchestras and ensembles and most recently she is found playing amongst her dear old students in Amsterdam. Apart from her two principal positions (Royal Northern Sinfonia and the Netherlands Radio Orchestra) she has been a guest leader with many orchestras such as the English Chamber Orchestra, BBC Welsh, London Octave, Netherlands Chamber Orchestra, Amsterdam Sinfonietta, Holland Symfonia and the Residentie Orchestra. Before joining the Allegri String Quartet she was a member of the London Philharmonic Orchestra in which she played under Sir George Solti for two months.
